New York City’s High Line Is a Gem!

How could I miss this gem the first time around?? A good thing New York City is so amazing that I keep coming back, and always will. The High Line Park is this incredible elevated walkway, that criss-crosses streets and neighborhoods. There are cafes, benches, flower beds, as in any other park, street vendors and great views of the busy city below. This is also one of the best places to spend a hot summer day. It was sooo nice to get a break from the steaming streets of the city!

  1. I never knew the High Line existed! Although I haven’t been to NYC for about 6 years! I am definitely due a visit! I’ve been twice already and like you could never tire of this amazing city. The High Line looks such a fabulous place to just chill and take in the view. Thanks so much for linking up with #MondayEscapes. It’s always so nice for us to meet you new bloggers!

    • Thinking back I know I had heard about it before my first visit to NYC, but just forgot about it once I got there. I love it! Especially in the summer heat 🙂

I’ve never done a link-up before. Heard about it for the first time the other day. Will be ready for tomorrow’s #4 🙂

  2. I love New York, but then again who doesn’t 🙂 This is a little bit embarrassing to say as I have been to NY about 8 times or so and seen most of the things you should see (and then some more), but I haven’t been to the High Line yet, but I am so going there the nest time I visit the city.

    • Thanks for taking time to comment on my post! I loved the High Line, which means I’ll be going back next time I’m in the city 🙂 And I usually don’t do things twice, as there are so much to see in the world. I was there in July (last year), super hot in other words, and it was so nice to be up there, away from the burning heat. Og nå ser jeg at du er norsk 🙂 Takk for titten!
